Cortinarius malicorius
Fr.
Cortinarius subgenus Dermocybe is characterized by the small to medium size of the basidiomata and by the occurrence of bright colours (yellow, orange, red or green) at least in the gills of the young fruit-bodies. Cortinarius malicorius grows in wet coniferous forests in the Alps and in Northern Europe; it may be recognized thanks to the olive coloured flesh and to the bright orange veil which may be observed in the marginal part of the cap cuticle.
